Kuba Board Game

Kuba Board Game Review

Kuba is one of those simple two-player games of strategy that turns out to be fiendishly complex. The game board is a gray plastic grid just over 11 inches square. Its hollows accommodate 29 large glass marbles, and the object is to physically push marbles around the grid in such a way as to remove red neutral marbles from the board. There are 8 black marbles, 8 white ones, and 13 red neutrals. The marbles can be pushed one space forward, back, left, or right, but restrictions make various moves illegal. The winner is the first player to push seven red marbles off the game area. --Richard Farr
